This precept speaks to me because, when talent is not working hard work beats it. In gymnastics if my talent is not working if I work hard I will accomplish a lot in life and gymnastics. I think this connects to Auggie because when his talent is not working if he will work hard through is surgeries it will turn out ok. Does this precept connect to you?
I love this! Hard work does pay off in the long run.
ReplyDeleteI think hard work can beat talent because if you do hard work it will really pay of, and when you work hard you are trying to show of your talent.
ReplyDeleteGisele, I connect to the precept as well. Writing does not come easy to me. I work had to write pieces that add new ideas to the education community. Going through the editors review process is a difficult time for me as well. All of this hard work pays off when I read my words in print in a book, journal, or online. I have tried to write more short pieces on my blog to help with this. What do you do to help with a new flip in gymnastics?
ReplyDeleteHi Gisele,
ReplyDeleteYour gymnastics story was a great example! I can connect this to a basketball team that I was on...when the other team played better than us, we had to work really hard to keep getting better!
Thank you guys so much
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this precept.
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking!
ReplyDeleteyes, This precept connects to me.
ReplyDeleteThat is great how you accomplish many things in gymnastics. Mr. M. said his daughter has a poster that says "You fall 7 times, you get up 8 times.
