Precepts About Wonder

Easy Blog Photo
This precept connects to Wonder, because when Auggie came in to the classroom on Halloween he overheard someone talking to someone else and felt really bad, and I think that he wasn't following that precept. I think this precept connects to me because I heard some really nice things today.

  1. Think about how those nice things made you feel. Spreading kindness is so important!

  2. I have not read Wonder yet, but I have noticed that Auggie is going through some tough times in the beginning of the book. Both physical and emotional trauma are effecting him. This precept supports that we can all contribute kindness. It is something we all possess, that doesn't cost money, that we can give as much or as little as we choose. What will you choose today, Lilly?

  4. I am glad that someone reached out to you and really cared! Everyone knows that feeling when someone is not being nice to you make you feel bad. Just remember that if anyone says something rude or men to you that they have no idea what they are saying and that you are perfect no matter what.
