My Precept

Easy Blog Photo
The precept that motivates me to is "When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on. This precept speaks me because it means when you come to your horizon, which is where you can't do anything more than what you're comfortable with, tie a knot where you are, and that means to stay in your comfort zone. This precept connects to the book Wonder because Auggie stays in his comfort zone during the book in multiple occasions. This precept was spoken by Thomas Jefferson.

  1. Are there any specific time where you had to tie a knot and hang on, Mark? A few times I had to "hang on" were to practice playing baseball, learn English, and finish my studies to become a teacher. I'm so glad I didn't give up on those things to make me a better coach, speaker/writer, and teacher. I hope you will never give up on your passions of building an amusement park with various roller coasters and performance on stage, Mark~

  2. I like how you said it motivates you to stay in your comfort zone and stay there. That is what I would do. Keep up the great work Mark!

  4. Hi Mark,
Sometimes amazing things will happen when you leave your comfort zone! It might be scary at first, but imagine what the possibilities are!
