To me this precept means that every thing in this world should be appreciated including the darkness and light which are barely ever appreciated even though we know it's there.I think that this relates to wonder because Auggie has to appreciate himself even if he looks different.
I love your thoughts and I try to keep this in mind everyday. Sometimes we get so busy with things we forget to be grateful.

ReplyDeleteAgreed Mattea! People who concentrate solely on the minutia of daily life loose sight of the bigger scope. There are two sides to everything that keeps us balanced. It is important to see and understand both sides, even if you do not agree with one side. Thank you for this reminder.
