Kind Words Don't Cost Much

Easy Blog Photo
The precept that motivates me is "Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much."  This precept was spoken by Blaise Pascal. My text to self connection to this precept is that when I say kind words they accomplish much. My kind words are not like a gift, which costs money. The text to text connection is if Jack could have used kind words, it would help move Jack and Auggie's friendship forward. They could be best friends!

  2. I agree Mark. When I was younger, there were times when I said mean things that I regretted later. These words cannot be taken back. You can offer an apology, but the words have already done harm. The importance here is that if Jack values Auggie's friendship, then he needs to take action and make amends. I wonder if/how he will do that?

  5. You are so right! I did the same one as you and I spoke a little bit different than yours. But I like it. Keep up the good work!
