In the book Wonder, I read the chapter How I Came to Life. I thought it was really funny because when August was getting born, there was a farting nurse. When she had August, they rushed him in a room. But as they were running one of the doctors fainted! The faring nurse was screaming WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR ARE YOU? But all of a sudden the nurse let out the biggest fart ever of the history of farts!! And it woke up the doctor! It was hilarious!
It has to be one of my favorite passages, too! That nurse ended up being so kind and reminding Auggie's mom how precious Auggie was from Day 1! I'm looking forward to having all students experience different emotions throughout the book!

ReplyDeleteLaughing is always the best way to spend your time! Watch out smelling salts...there might be a new remedy to wake up fainting people. I see a new invention idea...
